Quality Control and Port Inspections

Within the UK ports, Techno Fresh Consultancy can offer a bespoke quality control service for any type of fresh produce consignment. Such a service would encompass the following criteria:

Weight
–in pounds (lbs) or kilograms (Kg), as per the client’s requirements.

Brix
–i.e. soluble solids that is generally the amount of sugar in a sample of juice within the refractive index.

Titration
–of fruit juice (normally citrus) in order to ascertain the amount of acid present.

Size
–the maximum and minimum (in mm) of fruit within a carton.

General Quality Assessment
–against a customer’s specifi cation or that of the EEC regulations for class I, II or industrial usage.

Techno Fresh Consultancy’s quality reports are issued within 24 hours or less after inspection as standard.
